Through many years of experience we know that continuity of care ensures positive relationships with children and their families and promotes high quality care and education. There is nothing worse for a child’s development and care than to experience constantly changing faces due to staff turnover. Our overriding aim is to ensure that this does not happen in our organisation. We are a small team and many of us have worked together since we have been established. During this time all staff have been supported to gain higher qualifications, achieve together and follow their personal ambitions.
Forgive us we are all camera shy!
Gill Isherwood - Our graduate manager has been with us for over a decade, and she is hands-on and works with the children every day. She is as enthusiastic as ever and takes a real interest in every child, lends a friendly ear to all parents and carers, and works hard to support and develop her staff.
Louise Morley - Deputy Manager has been with us from the very start and has just completed her Level 5 qualification, well done! Again she is hands on and works with the children every day and supports the manager and staff with everything in nursery.
Diane Taylor - has just celebrated over a decade with us. One of Diane’s main responsibilities is help support literacy, language and communication in nursery.
Julie Mather - brings many years of experience. Julie is really enjoying working with us and us with her. Julie is our Parental Involvement co-ordinator who is responsible for ensuring family events take place.
Debbie Savage - is the newest member of our team, she joined in spring 2021.
For many years we have been a lead practitioner setting showing good practice to other nurseries within Lancashire. This was awarded due to our good practice, knowledge and experience of the early years. We describe ourselves as vibrant, well-motivated individuals who work well as a team to ensure your child’s experience is one they’ll cherish and look back on with fond memories.
